The Ombudsman in the Region of Murcia, José Pablo Ruiz Abellán, Calasparra visited yesterday to publicize the institution and make it more accessible to citizens.

Calasparra City Council, through its commitment to the collaboration agreement signed Ruiz Abellán with the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia, has pledged to cooperate with the Ombudsman in resolving conflicts and handling the problems presented by neighbors through the Single Window.

Ruiz Abellán gave a press conference, accompanied by the mayor of Calasparra, Jesus Navarro Jimenez, explaining that its primary mission is to investigate those complaints from citizens regarding government and make recommendations to relevant agencies to achieve improved public services.

"My priority task is to defend the rights and freedoms of citizens by overseeing the work of government," said the Ombudsman in the Region of Murcia.
