The Government Delegate and the Mayor of Calasparra inaugurate the works financed by the Local Investment Fund (25/11/2009)

The City Council carried out 18 actions valued at 1.8 million euros and create 129 new jobs

Rafael Navarro Gonzalez Tovar and Jesus inaugurated this morning several works of Local Investment Fund of the municipality.

The six works have been visited by a total amount of EUR 672,622 and created 46 jobs.

González Tovar Calasparra has pointed out that the Government of Spain received a total of 1,819,793 euros for 18 projects of the Local Investment Fund that are generating 129 jobs, of which 70 are newly created and 59 of persons within the successful tenderers.

The works visited were as follows:

Fitting * Daya streets and Caravaca (134,900 euros and 153,800 euros respectively) that have involved the replacement of sidewalks and curbs, replacement of street lighting and the resurfacing of the streets.

* The replacement of the deck at the Sports Pavilion (147,400 euros) by eliminating existing and placing a new sandwich.

* A new low-voltage wiring in the Sports Pavilion and the municipal football field (52,900 euros).

* The burial of garbage containers (153,800 euros) for installation at four different vials of two teams of underground containers, three mailboxes for collection and four mailboxes for organic.

* And the reform of the House of Youth (30,000 euros) to the implementation of the new practice room.

The delegate of the Government also reported that the new State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability to be invested in 2010, will involve a further economic boost for the city of 1,142,587 euros.

The Local Investment Fund to date

The Government delegate reported that to date, the Ministry of Planning Policy has been transferred to all municipalities in the region EUR 167,016,741, corresponding to 671 projects have received funding for the 70 percent of the total payment projects.

In this sense, González Tovar explained that since late last June, is beginning to pay the completion of the work of the State Fund in the Region of Murcia.
