The accident occurred when they were doing a laying of hoses of various diameters for review and testing of equipment involved in the fighting after a forest fire.
A hose burst at the time was undergoing the usual working pressure and beat the workers.
On several occasions, informed both by their immediate supervisors as members of that unit, the material was old and did not qualify to remain active.
Still, it was restored and all indications are that this was the cause of the accident, according to investigative sources.
