The Ministry of Works, Housing and Transport carried out reinforcement works hard on the MU-510 road, which links the town of Calasparra in the C-3211 (from Albacete to Eagles by Caravaca).
The budget of the work amounts to 791,568.90 euros, and the project is in phase of recruitment, keeping the work within three months of implementation.
This road is the link of the Region of Murcia Autonomous Community of Castilla - La Mancha through Socovos and has an average daily traffic of 756 vehicles.
This project aims to improve the existing firm and condition of the road platform paving the shoulders with a firm similar to the road, as currently between four eight points along the route has a firm surface treatment while the shoulders are artificial gravel.
The aim of this project works also involve the cleaning of ditches and banks and stabilize the firm with a layer of asphalt, which will extend a total of 12,000 tons.
In addition, 3,500 meters concreted ditch to facilitate drainage and road longitudinal protect the firm.
According to Carmen Sandoval, Director General for Transport and Highways, "this action is part of the Regional Government's commitment to the Councils in the Region of Murcia, which makes us pay special attention to inter-communication channels that provide important routes between the different cores population of the region.
