The Civil Guard in the region of Murcia has developed the 'ravine' operation, aimed at prosecuting and preventing the commission of crimes of robbery, culminating with the arrest of seven members of a criminal organization based in Calasparra and dedicated to this type criminal.
In operation, part of the 'Plan against burglary', the Meritorious clarified, so far, four counts of burglary (two with violence and two tackles) and effects recovered from thefts committed by the group disbanded.
The proceedings began last January, when the Civil Guard opened an investigation to clarify the commission of robberies committed in houses and climb Calasparra events which had caused alarm among the population.
Evidence obtained during the investigation directed agents to a group of young, of Spanish nationality and Calasparra neighbors who could be behind the thefts.
Modus operandi
Its main objective was committing burglary Calasparra.
Before you commit performed a detailed study of the property, such as its location, access and escape routes for, if undetected, to avoid arrest.
Once the feasibility of the commission of the robbery in terms of infrastructure, the group studied the schedules, routines and movements of the owners of the property designated in order to commit the crime in the safest way possible for them.

The evidence gathered after the commission of these robberies in Calasparra late last January, which came to cause injury to the victim, allowed important advances in research since its authorship might be related to the criminal group investigated.
Having identified all group members, seven Spaniards aged between 21 and 29 years, residents of Calasparra, and most of them with criminal records, in recent days has developed a search engine which has culminated in his arrest and remand in custody, suspected of the crimes of burglary in dwelling and robbery with violence at home.
The Guardia Civil has completed the operational phase of the operation with the entry and search of the home of the leader of the band, used for planning meetings and as a temporary store the stolen effects, where agents seized portion thereof such as game consoles, cameras, audio players, tools, binoculars and tools used for illicit trade.
The detailed analysis of the information obtained in the process of investigation and recovered the side effects involving crimes dismantled into four so far.
Those arrested, recovered effects and the proceedings have been brought before the Court of Instruction No. 3 of Caravaca de la Cruz (Murcia).
