- Marian Year of Hope: Plenary Indulgence once a day during the year 2014 to all the faithful on pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Hope Calasparra and there participate in a Marian celebration, or at least spend a period of time to meditation and conclude with the Lord's Prayer, the Creed and Marian invocation (Angelus, a part of the Rosary, etc..).
This plenary indulgence is applicable for oneself or for the dead.
- The bishop wanted to distinguish the Shrine of Our Lady of Hope with the power of being able to profit from the Plenary Indulgence in a stable manner, so he asked the Holy Father to the faithful he could benefit from attending any such Indulgence sacred or pious exercise celebration on 8 September, feast of Our Lady of Hope, which take place in his sanctuary, or as in the previous case, that day, on his pilgrimage to the Shrine, a period devoted to meditation and conclude with the Lord's Prayer, the Creed and Marian invocation (Angelus, a part of the Rosary, etc..).

The Holy Father Francisco, through the Apostolic Penitentiary, granted what Lorca Planes Bishop asked.
Last day January 23, 2014 His Eminence, Cardinal Mauro Piacenza, Major Penitentiary of the Holy See, on behalf of Pope Francisco signed three decrees:
- Plenary Indulgence is granted during the "Year of Hope", 2014, which on pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Hope in Calasparra, and there engaged in acts of worship and piety indicated.

To profit from the Plenary Indulgence in addition to the acts of worship and piety indicated is necessary to fulfill the following conditions: Sacramental Confession in the next days (before or after) the pilgrimage, Eucharistic Communion and prayer for the intentions of the Pope knew.
The Bishop of Cartagena expresses joy for granting these privileges to the Shrine of Our Lady of Hope, one of the most visited Marian shrines in Spain, and invites the faithful to go on pilgrimage in this year of grace.
