In his pastoral letter for this course, the Bishop of Cartagena invites all the faithful to work the theological virtue of hope, and for that reason encourages the entire Diocese of Cartagena peregrine to the shrine of Our Lady of Hope Calasparra.
For this reason, this morning the Episcopal Council has moved its meeting held every Wednesday at Calasparra, which also celebrated the Eucharist.
The Episcopal Council is chaired by the Bishop and formed by the Vicar General, the Episcopal Vicars eight Pastoral Areas, the Episcopal Vicar for Religious Life, the Episcopal Vicar for Evangelisation, the Episcopal Vicar for Economics and Chancellor -Secretary General.
In his pastoral letter, Bishop Lorca Planes recalls that Mary is an example of hope in adversity for the believer, "the mother stays with us at the foot of our crosses to give us the strength of fidelity. Let Mary in this course ! pilgrims on the way to the Shrine of Our Lady of Hope in Calasparra, to meet the Mother of God and our Mother, model of faith, hope and charity ".
The Bishop of Cartagena encourages parishes, associations and movements added to this course schedules training time dedicated to the Blessed Virgin, which includes the pilgrimage to the Marian shrine Calasparra.
Also invites that, before the image of Our Lady of Hope, pray the rosary for the following intentions: first mystery by families, second youth mystery, third mystery for religious vocations and the priesthood; fourth mystery for the sick, elderly and needy, and fifth mystery for the intentions of the Holy Father.
