The Minister of Public Works and Planning, Antonio Sevilla, accompanied by the Mayor of Calasparra, Jesus Navarro, presented today 16 public housing promotion, under lease, located in the town, belonging to the Institute for Housing and Land in the Murcia (IVS).
Antonio Sevilla highlighted the work of the IVS in expanding regional public park homes intended for specific groups of great social interest can not access normal market conditions, as well as the revitalization of urban areas.
The Housing and Land Institute conducted a performance that integrates social housing construction and rehabilitation of the house and studio of the famous architect Emilio Pérez Piñero, built in 1920 and cataloged historical interest.

The construction features provide energy savings
Homes that were delivered today were promoted by the Housing and Land Institute and organized around the new pedestrian road, with two distinct buildings where from the first floor dwellings are developed.
The first building is divided into seven apartments with floor areas of 63-85 square meters, divided into two and three bedrooms respectively and the second has nine apartments of 42 sq meters on average.
The 16 houses have storerooms, of an average size of three meters of floor space and are located on the roofs of buildings.
The complex has been completed with 26 parking spaces, a transformer and two stores on the ground floor.
One will be for commercial use and the other for use by the homeowners.
Investment
Funding for the plan was implemented in Calasparra has a cost of over 2.7 million euros and is divided between the said building and local housing rehabilitation Piñero House.
The Minister of Public Works and Planning noted that the structural characteristics of the building are adapted to the provisions of the Technical Building Code and are built as standard to facilitate energy saving and sustainable development.
Antonio Sevilla recalled that the public housing stock amounts to 3,107 IVS and throughout the region, of which 91 are in the municipality of Calasparra.
