This morning the local mayor, Jesus Navarro, the Councillor for Tourism and Trade, Maria Dolores Gomariz, and the president of the Merchants' Association, Esperanza Moreno, presented the program of events to commemorate the donation of Villa de Calasparra the Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem on 8, 9 and 10 June.
For three intense days Calasparra recover the historical event with various acts such as the medieval market and dinner, delivery of the keys to the Villa, and Gastronomic Route IV, among other acts who stressed Jesus Navarro, who has called participation in these "emblematic" celebrations, though, will be more austere than in previous years, not having or the parade or the theater, "we hope will be attractive enough to receive the support of all."
The mayor has invited the entire region to come to Calasparra, "there are many reasons to come and spend a few days savoring the local cuisine, walking the medieval market or touring the sights of the city," he said.
Maria Dolores Gomariz has joined the invitation and recalled that during the three days will be held the IV route and Concoctions Culinary Hospital in participating this year 19 establishments in the locality.
Esperanza Moreno for his part announced that the Merchants' Association will organize the Medieval Dinner, for which the suits are available in the store of Pepe Caro.
This will be on June 8 in Film Rosales and will be offered by the restaurant of the Sanctuary.
