Opened the point of recycling used books]
On February 18 opened in the Municipal Library of Calasparra, the new Recycling Point Used Books, local artist Pepe Ramos Trigueros.
This colorful and striking work, will be, from now, in our City Library.
Encompassed within the Project Promoting Reading "Dive into Books", which is conducting the Municipal Library Committee, this initiative is to promote good use of books and the importance of their care, even when we no longer are useful or are old and worn.
According to the Councillor for Culture, "from now calasparreños may deposit your books here, to enable the restoration and reuse, preventing them from becoming waste material. Books can have many lives."
At year end will be a workshop of restoration and recycling all the books that were collected.
