Calasparra has commemorated the Day Against Gender Violence with a series of events from the Department of Equality have been aimed at denouncing the situation suffered by women around the world who suffer any kind of abuse.
The events started last Thursday, November 24, with a special program that Radio City Calasparra held every year and for the occasion was attended by the Councillor for Equality Maria Dolores Gomariz, Cape Local Police Miguel Angel Martinez, Professor philosophy of Emilio Pérez Piñero IES, Charles S.
Olmo, and Caravaca CAVI psychologist, Carolina Perez, as well as listeners who spoke during the program with their opinions.
By 25 November, the Department of Equality organized an event in memory of the victims with the reading of a manifesto and the lighting of candles, one for each fatality has made violence against women in Spain.
An act that was closed with a moment of silence, during which women worldwide are suffering situations of inequality, violence and abuse were in the minds of all present.
The acts were closed on Sunday March 27 with the V Against Gender Violence that traveled part of downtown to finish in the Open Theatre Castle, where participants could put into words their condemnation of those who exercise any form of violence on woman.
