The Department of Tourism has planned several activities to commemorate World Tourism Day.
Thus, Calasparra joins this global celebration with open houses in major museums in the area.
Until Friday, the Rice Museum, Emilio Pérez Piñero Foundation, at the Mill and the Archaeological exceptionally open to the public from 10:30 to 13:30 in the morning so that visitors can enjoy the varied heritage museum.
The day was complete with guided tours for school children to the Cave of the Port in coordination with schools in the locality.
Councillor for Tourism, M ª Dolores Gomariz has invited citizens to learn about the important and vast heritage that has the municipality.
"It's important that we assess the relevance, increasing that tourism has on the social and economic development of Calasparra," said Maria Dolores Gomariz occasion of World Tourism Day.
