The four schools in kindergarten and primary have participated this year in the Third Conference on Road Safety Education organized by the municipality with the collaboration of the schools themselves and local police.
Councillor of Education, M ª Dolores Gomariz, and Police Chief Michael Moret, have delivered this morning diplomas to students who have been representing the Pedreras schools, Our Lady of Hope, Sacred Heart and the Mills.
Madu Gomariz reminded students that road safety is no joke and urged them to put into practice what they learned in the workshops and not to neglect something as important as the safety of each, either as pedestrians or as drivers, now bike or skate.
Both the City Council and local police are very much appreciated the workshops and serve three editions and represent for many schools the first contact with the traffic regulations.
