Calasparra Popular Party wants to express its appreciation to all citizens, Spanish and foreign residents in our country again for participating in elections, exercising their right and thus demonstrating its commitment to democracy, and especially the calasparreños they came in droves to cast their ballots at the polls on May 22, showing great responsibility and citizenship.
These were not municipal elections over, now the town of Calasparra has made clear its desire for change.
A change represented by the Partido Popular, and made clear by a large number of voters who have decided to support the popular.
The results have been spectacular, the popular candidate, has won eight of the seventeen council members who form the council, tying with the Socialists.
There will be a new council, in this case the United Left.
This means that the Popular Party has been very close to getting a resounding electoral victory that would have allowed him to rise with the Mayor of Calasparra.
For all this Calasparra People's Party wants to thank all its members, supporters, contributors and voters, to all who have trusted and ultimately to all those who participated in this successful campaign, as well as all people who are part of the list of candidates for hard work, sacrifice and responsibility.

There is no doubt that these elections represent a before and after in the democratic history of Calasparra, totally changing the political landscape in our town.
From now opens a new era of freedom, courage, commitment to the ideals, the way we think, to how to act, in the form of being and of this party and also as not to Calasparra.
The Popular Party is a strong and prepared Party that has nothing to fear, a party capable and united more than ever.
A party which believes that unity is strength to face the future of both Calasparra like its inhabitants, in order to face this future with the best guarantees.
The main objective of the Popular Party will get the highest possible welfare for the citizens residing in our town, within a policy of equal opportunities, transparency, improved services, improved safety and maximum participation.
