The deadline to apply for housing in Calasparra is open until 9 May (17/04/2011)

They are intended for low-income families and will be allocated by the Regional Housing

The managing director of the Institute of Housing and Lands, Jane Brown, said today that "the deadline for applying one of 16 public housing that builds community in the town of Calasparra remain open until May 9."

Interested families can apply for rental of these houses of Public Advocacy (PPV), located near the church of San Pedro and the Museum of the Commandery.

The promotion, part of the second phase of an urban renewal project, has 16 homes that provide parking and storage.

They are located on a plot of 1,357 square meters of pottery street in the historic old town.

The implementation of this project also includes the recovery of a listed building, the Casa Pérez Piñero, which will house a new museum facilities and public offices.

Chestnut said the homes are designed "to families in the region with limited economic resources, through this project may qualify for a decent home."

The tender process between the applicant families will be conducted by the Regional Housing Commission, according to the scales laid down by law.

This body comprises representatives of regional and local administrations and social agents in the region.

Interested parties can access more information on the Institute for Housing and Land in the Region, located in the plaza Santoña of Murcia, as well as through the Department of Social Services City of Calasparra.
