Calasparra has shown this year TURISMUR great potential ecotourism resources.
La Cueva del Puerto, the hiking, sports in nature, like the descent of the river, canoeing or caving, claims join amply recognized as the Santuario Virgen de la Esperanza, among the most visited in Spain, its parties or their famous cuisine.
Calasparra as a single destination but with a host of alternatives has been the appearance that the Tourism Department has sought to promote the Fair of Tourism in the Region of Murcia which was held this past weekend in Torre Pacheco and which was attended by the Mayor local, Jesus Navarro and Tourism Councillor, Maria Dolores Gomariz.
The mayor has made a very positive assessment of the presence of Calasparra TURISMUR this year which has trained 28,000 visitors.
"The preferences of the tourists are in line with what Calasparra can offer and this has been noticed in the number of visitors who have come to our stand," he noted Gomariz, who recalled that on 6 March is the first trekking route "Calasparra, step by step 2011.
