This weekend have met twenty-seven Calasparra employers Galindo Foundation to celebrate the constituent assembly.
Former President of the CHS, the Director of the Conservatory of Music of Murcia, Calasparra Mayor, or the Minister of Culture are part of the Board is the governing body, representation and management of the Foundation Galindo, and is composed also the founder, Germain Galindo Moya, who holds the post of President, a group of personalities from the cultural, professional and business in Spain, the City of Calasparra and the Autonomous Community of Murcia.
Both the Councillor of Culture, as the mayor of Tourism, along with another calasparreño, Jesus Martinez, who in turn forms part of the board, exercised during the weekend host of the leading group.
Galindo Foundation, created by Germain Galindo Moya, born with the aim of preserving the linking of the name Galindo, not only with Calasparra, but also with music.
Not for nothing one of your ancestors founded back in 1880, the centennial Banda Music of the locality and Galindo's name is synonymous with music in Calasparra.
The new foundation is to support education and musical training through the award of fellowships, distributing music and the organization of events dedicated to her.
In the first meeting held last Saturday in the Hall of Calasparra Commander agreed that this year will be granted the first award for music students to be around 10,000 euros, according to Galindo.
The basis of this first call was made public in May and will target students from the Region of Murcia, although with preference for calasparreños, who have completed the higher grade in any musical discipline.
The Foundation draws from an initial and further contributions from both entities and individuals, for which an account has been created in the office of Cajamurcia of Calasparra.
In time the initial fund already has an amount of 150,000 euros.
Galindo Foundation is headquartered in the building Calasparra Barn House and plans to hold a working committee meeting in March.
