Repsol and the town of Calasparra have held an information day for home users of bottled gas (butane and propane) (11/02/2011)

Over 400,000 families use daily Murcia bottled gas for Repsol, which is a major source of energy for a significant number of households.

In the region of Murcia, at least 27% of the population using gas Repsol packaging to meet your needs for heating, hot water and cooking.

Inform users about the proper installation of gas at home, when, how and who should review it, what to do if you smell gas at home or how to use the gas to reduce consumption, among other things, is the goal Repsol has set these briefings.

Repsol, in collaboration with the City of Calasparra (Murcia), has organized an information day on the safe use of butane and propane in the home, for home users of this fuel in the city.

The event was attended by the Councillor for Tourism, Trade and Consumer Calasparra, M ª Dolores Gomariz, and business leaders and security Repsol LPG in Murcia, José Manuel Guardiola and Fernando Sánchez respectively.

This is the first in a series of meetings that Repsol wants to perform in different cities of Murcia, to offer advice on safety in domestic gas installations.

The sessions allow users to obtain information on how you must properly maintain the gas, when, how and who should review, how to act when we perceive the smell of gas in homes, or as we use the gas to save power, among others.

According to the official Repsol LPG in Murcia, José Manuel Guardiola, in the autonomous region more than 416,000 users of LPG, representing at least 27% of the population of Murcia using this source of energy in their homes for service hot water, heating and cooking.

Of these clients, the vast majority, about 400,000 are users of the popular Repsol orange bottle, while another 16,000 received about this company's service through bulk or leaking.

These figures represent total consumption in the Murcia region of more than 10,500 tons of LPG annually, and the order of 2,600,000 bottles consumed each year.

Repsol is the leading operator in butane and propane gas in Murcia, with basic energy services to thousands of homes in the region.

With this conference seeks to improve information to customers about the safe use of bottled gas, as well as the advantages of its use.

According to head of the company, Repsol is in constant innovation, as evidenced by the launch of its new K6-pack of 6 kg fully recyclable - or Solargen new offering, a modern solution that combines propane plates solar, which are now mandatory in new buildings and rehabilitated.
