Theatre, radio, a march and candle lighting, Calasparra commemorated the Day Against Violence Against Women (30/11/2010)

Numerous events during the last week in Calasparra served to condemn the ill-treatment of women.

The conference, which was experienced last November 25th, started with a special program on Radio Calasparra which was attended by the study of the Councillor for Equality, Alfonsa Egea, and Equality agent, Ana Garcia, who shared the program with other guests, including writer Maria Teresa Carter, author of "Mommy is sad", or the coordinator of the Seville headquarters of the Association "Women in conflict zones" that warned of the drama that represents the trafficking in women sexual exploitation.

The artist Begoña Fernández Corbalán joined the work creating a demand delicate and full of hope that was raffled among the participants of the march against gender violence on Sunday and finished in the theater opened the castle, where some these reflected aloud about what this social scourge that ended with a rallying cry "not one more death."

During the march was also planned tree-planting and the installation of a plaque in memory of victims of violence, but due to the rains of recent days, could not be carried out and is pending .

Also held the customary lighting of candles in the Plaza of the slide and a play on Friday at the Municipal Auditorium, to accompany the reading of the manifesto against domestic violence who spoke on the Aegean Alfonsa Square Log.
