La Ermita de los Santos hosts from tomorrow Friday, the Early Music Festival III Villa in Calasparra.
A unique event in the Region of Murcia, which focuses on the music developed since the Middle Ages to the Baroque.
For the 2010 edition will have the participation of 4 focus groups that tour the musical glorious past of much of the geography of Europe, covering different periods and styles.

This would have raised four concerts, which will be heard on 16, 17, 23 and July 24 in the Chapel of the Holy Martyrs of Calasparra, and ranging from the sounds corresponding to the early medieval manuscripts, including famous Cantigas de Santa Maria of Alfonso X the Wise, to taste French and Italian Baroque genius.
By the way, you can see the magnificence of Spanish polyphony from the hand of the great masters of Spanish Chapel (Francisco Guerrero and Tomás Luis de Victoria) or different aspects of the court music dedicated to large celebrations, exemplified in the music performed for the visit of Charles I and Philip II in the Netherlands (1548-1551).
