Juan Fernández Montoya masterfully proclaimed this Holy Week "atypical in a year in which we must be more united than ever." The event, which was conducted by Antonio Jesús Martínez and which took place with reduced capacity, was attended by the mayor of the municipality, Teresa García; the councilor for culture, Antonio Merino; the Rev.
José Manuel Martínez Rosique, Parish Priest of Calasparra and Chaplain of the Cabildo; the Justice of the Peace, Toñi Moya del Amor; the President of the Cabildo, German Ricardo Carmona; the President of the Brotherhood of Santos Mártires Abdón y Senén, Juan Antonio García Juárez; the President of the Stewardship of the Shrine of Our Lady of Hope, Fulgen Sánchez; the presidents of the different brotherhoods of Calasparreña Holy Week; representatives of the Cabildo; relatives of the town crier and the brother of the year.
