Of the municipal stand out its artisan pieces of author and its care, meticulous and painstaking assembly, for which it has already been awarded several times at the regional level.

Along with the municipal, also highlights the nativity scene of the parish of San Pedro Ap stol and the one installed in the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Hope, which these days receives thousands of visitors. But if there is an event that distinguishes Calasparra, it is the presence in its streets of Juan Pelotero y los Inocentes on December 28.

A day that in the town is marked by the tradition of Juan Pelotero and the Innocents, who for centuries have been walking the streets of the municipality playing jokes and “collecting” for the most absurd things, in a very peculiar way .

This year he will be in a different way due to the health crisis that we are going through but he will not miss his appointment. The Christmas school, organized by the Youth Council, is the place where the little ones make everything they imagine come true: craft workshops, games and cooking, among others, occupy the mornings of the days of holidays.

The school will have all the preventive measures against COVID-19 and will take place in the old municipal nursery. On January 4, the Periferia Teatro company will carry out its work in the Municipal Auditorium "NUBE NUBE".
