THE MUNICIPAL SOCIALIST GROUP OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF CALASPARRA REQUESTS THE AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITY, URGENTLY, TO EXTEND THE SCHEDULES OF THE LOCAL BUS LINES Yesterday, the Municipal Socialist Group presented a motion for the request that many residents of the town demand. Concessionaires and companies in charge of transport between Calasparra - Murcia and Calasparra - Caravaca de la Cruz have reduced the number of buses to Caravaca and to the capital of the Region of Murcia.The Regional Government has left in a single trip that would leave Calasparra for Caravaca at 06:50 in the morning and return to Calasparra at 15:55 hours.

A single trip by public transport to the neighboring town of Caravaca for the huge number of people who travel in this transport and who have been abandoned (students, people who attend the Northwest regional hospital, language school, social security, etc.

).The concession company has also reduced the number of trips to Murcia this year, leaving a minimum service of 1 trip a day at 07:20 in the morning from Monday to Friday and a single trip at 19:35 in the afternoon.

Sundays and holidays.

They have abolished the weekday afternoon trip and the Saturday trip.

We have been coming off of a long time cuts in public services and this latest cut leaves our neighbors without an essential service. The regular lines of transport that are offered are clearly insufficient (due to limited hours) and the residents of Calasparra have no choice but to use their private vehicle, whoever has it; because whoever does not have it, must ask for favors or pay for a taxi.

Many fathers and mothers have to adjust their working hours in order to transfer their sons and daughters to different educational centers.

We believe that in order to compensate for this evident inequality, it is necessary to tend towards the extension of the public transport service. WE REQUEST: - The extension of the schedules of the Calasparra-Caravaca de la Cruz and Calasparra-Murcia bus lines. - Adjust the schedules of these lines to the real needs of users.
