The Calasparra, Riorges and Donzdorf Twinning Committees, together with the Town Councils of the three towns, actively participated in the European initiative #ErasmusDays 2020, with the aim of contributing to give visibility to the program and disseminate the results of the experiences in which They have participated since 2008, through the youth meetings held annually with young people from Riorges (France), Donzdorf (Germany) and Calasparra (Spain).
The figures of this initiative have represented 5023 events organized around the world, of which 493 in Spain, with a total of 21 in the Region of Murcia (11 in Murcia, 5 in Cartagena, 3 in Lorca, 1 in San Javier and 1 in Calasparra).On October 15, 16 and 17, photographs and videos of the various meetings were published on the Social Networks of the Town Halls and Twinning Committees of Riorges, Donzdorf and Calasparra, along with the work topic and the town of realization.
All the publications were shared by numerous people, in addition to adding to the creation of new entries with images and memories of the exchanges in which they had participated.On October 16, at 7:00 p.m., the virtual meeting took place with the active, joyful and emotional participation of more than sixty people from the three locations.
Among them were the mayor of Calasparra, Teresa García, the mayor of Riorges, Jean-Luc Chervin, the president of Europabaum, Reinhard Deinfelder, and the presidents of the Twinning Committees of Riorges and Calasparra, Elisabeth Dessaux and Teresa Salinas, respectively.
as well as monitors, family members, young people and members of the Riorges, Donzdorf and Calasparra Twinning Committees.
We also have the presence of teachers from the IES Emilio Pérez Piñero, organizers of the youth exchanges held between the students of Calasparra and the Gymnasium Reichberg of Donzdorf (Germany), as well as other projects subsidized by Erasmus +.In addition to the interventions of participants and the viewing of photographs, all the people shared the desire to be able to celebrate in the summer of 2021 our youth meeting scheduled in Riorges for 2020 (Consum-action for the climate), postponed due to the situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.In a different way, typical of this difficult and different time that we are living in all of Europe, we feel close as always and participate in the construction of European sentiment.
