The orange local spokesman, Carlos Alajarín, recalled that "the PSOE government team voted in an extraordinary plenary session against the economic measures proposed by Citizens, such as allocating the 400,000 euros from the canceled bullfighting festivals and festivities to social aid, unemployed and hospitality and tourism ”.

Alajarín has regretted that "at that time they alleged the possibility of 'ruining the town hall', despite the fact that these measures had already been agreed with the Merchants Association and were perfectly acceptable and necessary in the current situation."The liberal mayor has lamented that “despite the fact that the government team promised to carry out measures in three lines, at the moment only two have been announced; and of the economic aid proposals announced with great fanfare there is no news to date ”.

This situation has led Ciudadanos Calasparra to denounce that "no economic aid measure is being carried out to the town or to commerce." Alajarín added that despite the fact that his group has asked the government team up to three times in writing about these measures and their way of implementation or execution, "we have only obtained silence as an answer."The orange local spokesperson considers a "lack of social sensitivity" the attitude of the mayor, Teresa García, and has once again regretted "the lack of transparency of this government team, which makes the lack of respect for the public representatives of the locality a common way of acting ”.

Finally, he recalled that his group "we promise to continue supporting the measures taken by the City Council, even without consensus, but in return we will demand that they be met."
