Music returns to Calasparra with the celebration of the XXXI Festival de Bands "Villa de Calasparra" (20/07/2020)

On Saturday night the XXXI Band Festival "Villa de Calasparra" took place.

This festival organized by the Calasparra Music Band Association together with the City Council of Calasparra, had the participation of two magnificent bands, the Muleña Musical Association and the Calasparra Music Band Association, who delighted all those attending the event with their music.

Although this year we could not enjoy the traditional parade, which ran along Gran Vía until it reached the Cine Rosales Auditorium, for reasons of prevention before COVID-19.The capacity of the enclosure was limited and at the entrance the temperature and personal data were taken from all the people who accessed the enclosure.

In addition, the security distancing and the use of a mask by the attendees, the seats and lecterns were also disinfected between the updates of one band and another.The event was attended by Antonio Merino, mayor of culture, and Cristina Ruiz, mayor of education, representing the City of Calasparra, Diego Boluda, who heads the department of culture at the City of Mula, and Ginesa Zamora, president of the Federation of Bands de Música, who during his speech highlighted the quality of both bands, congratulating the Calasparra Music Band Association for its 140-year anniversary, and highlighting the commitment made by the City Council of Calasparra for music and support for ours band.
