In the afternoon yesterday, in the auditorium of the House of Culture in Calasparra, the youth reading club held an exhibition on Las Sinsombrero, writers, painters and philosophers who belonged to the generation of 27 and whose names, with the As time passed, they have not been at the same level as their contemporary peers, although merits have plenty.
This initiative was plated from the youth reading club in order that these exceptional women of our history are not lost in oblivion by highlighting, in this forum, their contribution to culture through different channels.
The writers María de Zayas, Carmen de Burgos, María Teresa León and Clara Campoamor, together with the surrealist painter Maruja Mallo, the graphic artist Ángeles Santos and the philosopher María Zambrano had their space in this exhibition in which she discussed her life and work.
This exhibition has been the closure to a week of women, in which there have been various activities around the day of women celebrated on March 8.
