The spokesman of Cs asks the new councilor to break with the practices of his predecessor and open a stage of constructive dialogue "that will result in the improvement of the conditions of all the neighbors"
The municipal group of Citizens has denounced today the âobstructionist attitude and the violation of the right to informationâ exercised by the PSOE Government team in the Calaspareño town hall.
The local orange spokesman, Carlos Alajarín, has justified this complaint in the fact that âsince the current legislature began, our municipal group has not received a single one of the minutes corresponding to the Government Boards, which is a clear prejudice to our control and control work as an opposition group â.
The absence of communication of the minutes contravenes the Organic Regulation of the City Council of Calasparra, which in its article 25.2 establishes a maximum period of 15 days to send them to all municipal groups: âUnfortunately, it is a situation that is repeated in a manner recurring since the previous legislature, in which he was mayor José Vélez, the now delegate of the Government, âsaid Alajarín.
The liberal spokesman has urged the new mayor, Teresa García, "not to continue the totalitarian practices of the previous mayor and comply with the obligations contracted with the public representatives of the town of Calasparra, as mandated by law."
From the municipal group of Citizens, the councilor is also urged to âconvene on a regular basis the Board of Spokespersons, as well as the rest of the bodies to which the opposition councilors belong, such as the monitoring commissions of the nursing home or the municipal nursery, something the previous mayor never did. â
Alajarín stressed that âin Ciudadanos we believe in dialogue and understanding as a normal form of political action, always with the aim of reaching maximum consensus and improving the lives of all neighbors, and this consensus passes firstly through access to the necessary information from the councilors.
"But the reality is that in the face of this commitment we find that dialogue and understanding have never been part of the vocabulary of the Calasparreño PSOE government team," added Alajarín.
The orange spokesman has asked the new mayor to "break the practices of her predecessor" and initiate a "constructive dialogue with the opposition."
