This past weekend, the Talía Theater Workshop made all the audience at the Municipal Auditorium of Calasparra enjoy the theater version of El Lazarillo de Tormes for a single character by Fernando Fernán-Gómez, which José Ángel Moya performed.
The work showed us the reality of an impoverished country without aspirations, through the history of arduous survival in the hard life of Lazarillo de Tormes in the 16th century.
During the performance, with a great sense of humor and sarcastic look, we were told this great classic of Castilian literature in which the actor managed to awaken the tenderness in the hearts of all theater goers.
The main and only actor of the work knew how to maintain the necessary rhythm that this interpretation required, during the hour and a half it lasted under the direction of Antonia Martínez.
An interesting and entertaining cultural panorama is what you can enjoy during this autumn-winter in the municipality of Calasparreño.
In addition, a firm commitment to the culture accessible to all, inclusive and with a varied offer.
Part of this offer reflects the interest and work of the residents of the town, which together with various associations, groups and the City Council of Calasparra, have filled the auditorium of the town with works such as Masters of Tenderness, accessible theater - as means of social and educational expression - in the company of Express´art Theater of APCOM (Association of families of people with intellectual disabilities of the Northwest) and the work The Beefeater Syndrome, whose proceeds went to the fight against cancer.
