The Council of Children and Adolescents of Calasparra has been in charge this year together with the Department of Sports of the City of Calasparra, of the organization of the Cross Solidarity in which all the educational centers of the municipality participate (Los Molinos, Las Pedreras, Nuestra Señora of Hope and Sacred Heart of Jesus).
The students summoned for this occasion have been the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade of Primary.
A sports and solidarity day, celebrated last Monday 16, in the municipal athletics tracks.
Each student contributed a toy to the campaign, in exchange for being able to participate in the races.
These toys will be delivered to the Red Cross and Caritas, in the same way it has been done in recent years.
The children of the Council of Children and Adolescents of Calasparra, volunteered to collect the toys donated by their peers, and thus collaborate, so that no one is left without a gift this Christmas.
Another initiative that adds up to meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which is intended to achieve the end of child poverty and highlight the right of all children to play and have fun.
