The Council of Children and Adolescents of Calasparra will be in charge this year to organize, together with the Department of Sports of the City of Calasparra, the usual Cross Solidario in which all the educational centers of the municipality participate, with which children They show their more supportive side by providing a toy in exchange for being able to participate in the races, and in this way that nobody is left without a gift this Christmas.
And, one of the objectives of the aforementioned Council is precisely to work for the rights of children and also try to meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
A list of purposes in which it is established, as one of its priorities, the participation and right of all children to play and have fun, and the eradication of their poverty.
Last Monday, December 2, the first preparatory meeting was held.
It was attended by the Council for Children and Adolescents, the mayor of Education and Culture, Teresa García, the Councilor for Sports, Juan Bernal, the sports coach, Antonio Carreras and the youth coach, Alicia Martínez.
At the meeting, the illusion and desire that these children are putting into everything they do is clear.
