This past Saturday, October 26, the awards ceremony of the XXX Bullfighting Fair of Calasparra Rice took place at the Virgen de La Esperanza Restaurant.
The event was attended by the Mayor of the town, José Vélez, and the councilors of Festejos, Antonio Merino and Jordi Arce, the event was attended by the president of the Bullfighting Club Francisco García, and the Minister of Education and Culture of the Government of the Region of Murcia , Esperanza Moreno.
The mayor of the municipality announced the creation of a trophy, called "Victor Neighborhood Memorial" for the recognition of those who promote and defend the bullfighting party.
In this first installment of the prize has been awarded to the president of the Bullfighting Club, Mr. Francisco García.
During the ceremony Mr. José Escolar was awarded the Best Novillada trophy of the last Golden Spike Fair. In turn, the Livestock of Valdellán collected the award for Best Steer, 'Carburito'.
The other awards that were given corresponding to his performance at the Calasparra Rice Fair held last September:
Best Quite of Danger, José Luis López Triviño;
Best Puyazo, José María Tafalla 'Rivet';
Best Pair of Banderillas, Rafael González;
Best Lunge, El Rafi, and Detail for the Memory, the monosabio Ã“scar Colmenar, from the horse stable El Pimpi de Albacete.
During the ceremony, distinctions were handed out at local, regional and national levels, which this year fell to the businessman Ginés Hernández, for his sponsorship of the Espiga de Plata Contest, and the municipality of Moratalla (Murcia), for the enclosures held by all the years.
From the deputation of Badajoz, and in his name, his vice president, Ramón Ropero, collected the prize for the support they provide from the bullfighting school.
