Two people have been arrested as alleged authors of the crimes of cultivation and drug production, and of fraud of electric fluid
About 300 plants of cannabis sativa have been seized, as well as abundant electrical and electronic equipment to facilitate intensive indoor cultivation

The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, within the framework of services aimed at preventing and prosecuting drug trafficking, has developed the RED HOUSE operation, an investigation that has resulted in the discovery of a marijuana plantation, indoor type, in a house in the municipality of Calasparra, where 295 cannabis sativa plants have been seized, as well as abundant electrical and electronic equipment to facilitate indoor cultivation.
The investigation has culminated in the arrest of a couple, of Venezuelan nationality, as the alleged author of the crimes of cultivation and processing of drugs, and of fraud of electric fluid.
The investigation began at the beginning of the month, when the Civil Guard was alerted to an alleged irregularity in the electrical consumption of a house, located in a place in the municipality of Calasparra.
After conducting the first surveillance, the agents verified the strong smell of marijuana that emanated from the place, as well as that the property, surrounded by a fenced wall, presented the upper floor windows boarded up with some type of panel and that in the part later there were several air conditioners.
From that moment, a series of discrete surveillance devices were established that allowed us to find out that the farm had been rented by a couple, domiciled in another building in the municipality.
The evidence obtained has been brought to the attention of the judicial authority, who has ordered the corresponding entry and registration order in the dwelling object of the investigation.
Collaboration of the Local Police of Calasparra
Civil Guard agents, in collaboration with the Local Police of Calasparra, have inspected the house where 295 cannabis sativa plants have been located and seized, as well as seven air conditioners, numerous reactors, counters, screens, lamps;
and a laptop.
The RED HOUSE operation has culminated in the dismantling of a greenhouse of marijuana plants that had been enabled inside a house in Calasparra and the arrest of two people as alleged authors of the crimes of drug cultivation and processing, and of fraud of electric fluid.
According to the investigation, the couple, based in the municipality for more than a year, had leased this house to which they moved regularly to maintain, presumably, the intensive cultivation of plants.
The arrested men, 31 years old;
and a 27-year-old woman, both of Venezuelan nationality, the drug and the effects seized, as well as the proceedings taken have been made available to the Court of Instruction of Caravaca de la Cruz.
