Agents of Local Police of Calasparra, carried out the past day 1 of April an intervention that was settled with the seizure of 300 kilos of stolen copper.
The agents followed the trail of a vehicle found in the vicinity of an industrial zone, which took them to a property on the outskirts of the town.
After several inquiries, they managed to find the stolen material, which was hidden in the aforementioned area.
From that moment the agents proceeded to transfer the copper to police agencies, and opened a line of investigation, in collaboration with the National Police and Civil Guard, which today remains open and extends to other towns, with the that it is intended to return the material seized, as well as proceed to arrest the alleged perpetrator.
With this intervention, and that of last November, the Local Police Calasparra has managed to stop the sale of about 350 kg of copper, which on the black market, had reached an approximate value of about 2500 euros.
