The head of the regional executive, Fernando López Miras, attended the mass today on the occasion of the procession of the Torches to the Shrine of Our Lady of Hope on the occasion of the festivities of Calasparra in honor of its patron saint, the Virgen de la Esperanza.

"This is part of the living legacy of the Region of Murcia and wanted to be here accompanying the residents of this municipality on one of its great days," remarked the president of the Community.

"From the regional government we support, defend and value our traditions and are committed to give them the value they deserve," said Lopez Miras, who made an invitation "everyone to come to know this Shrine and enjoy our traditions" .
