The sky presaged the evening might end with rain and so, although this did not prevent the conclusion yesterday of the Commemoration of the Grant from the Villa to the Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem.
The procession started from the Gran Via Old and made the journey wrapped up in hundreds of calasparreños that since the mid-afternoon, and completely filled the May 1st Avenue.
The clergy, guilds, musicians, the court and of course, the kings, made up the parade ended at the Movies Rosales, when they began to fall the first drops of rain and where there was the theatrical representation of the commemoration, by the Mill theater group.
After the performance, in which the weak process of falling rain, it was time for the delivery of the keys to the Villa.
The local mayor, Jesus Navarro, took the witness to deliver one of the most prestigious awards granted by the City of Calasparra, and mentioned in his speech to the achievements of the winners and the nobility with which they walked the name of Calasparra wherever he has gone.
Recognition ended with emotion and gratitude of the recipients.
