Calasparra participates in the worldwide celebration of World Environment Day with a program that starts in the city yesterday as they join schools, associations, and city hall, organized, together with the Association Meteoambiente the program content.
Since yesterday, the different nursery and primary schools in the town, carried out reforestation work in the Peace Park and a special program tomorrow on Radio Calasparra anticipate the celebration.
And Saturday 5 June, World Environment Day, the agenda starts with an activity of reforestation and cleaning the banks of the river Argos.
The event, organized by the City Council, calls for participants at 9:30 am at the Cuesta Blanca.
From there until the new bridge, will run the task, in which, according to the mayor of the municipality, will be planted about 450 trees and native plants, which carry an identification of the person who has sown, for the record in time.

In another scenario, the Plaza of the slide, from 10:00 am, Meteoambiente Association, develop a comprehensive program that includes games, workshops, live music.
