The mayor of the municipality, together with the Councillor for Social Welfare, and President of the Club of the 3 rd Age, has today presented diplomas to the participants of the course "Introduction to computers for seniors."
A total of 18 students have completed this workshop, which began last February, to learn the basic operation of new technologies.
The workshop has been described as very useful and fun for the students themselves, "Now I am able to communicate through the Internet, with my daughter who lives in Argentina," said one of the students.
As pointed out by the mayor, "the course will be given the wide acceptance of it."
Although, as pointed councilor, "the start date will depend on the work planned to be carried out in the Club of the 3 rd Age, and that is the place to develop these workshops." And it would soon commence the works that will equip the center of a new hall, which is close to the building's courtyard, as noted by Isabel Torrente.
