The People's Party has visited the CP Calasparra Mills (17/03/2010)

Calasparra People's Party has visited the Public School Los Molinos, there we could check the status of works in the Sports Pavilion.

At the beginning of the year 2010, the school board president and director, at a time, CP Mills, remitted letters to Ms. Hall Council Education and HE Calasparra.

Mr. Minister of Education, Training and Employment of the Autonomous Region of Murcia.

In these communications, the center's director exposed and lamented the daily problems they are suffering from the students and faculty as a result of the cessation of works in the Sports Pavilion.

This work began in January 2007 (3 years), and it seems they will not end soon.

Due to this students have to commute downtown to a nearby fence, which does not meet the minimum health and safety guarantees to teach physical education.

Sandy is a very uneven track so the risk of injury is obvious.

Moreover, this pseudo track has set aside a dumpster, so it is often seen on campus wastewater, glass, dead animals, abundance of mosquitoes .... Etc. In addition, the fence of the enclosure has a hole more than one meter in diameter, that is, not in a position.

School teachers feel truly helpless because of the danger of moving to this building, the reduced space for the playground and the risk for children.

A draft of that new infrastructure has a budget of 1,300,000 euros, of which the Autonomous Community of Murcia had to provide under agreements, 300,000 euros have already been delivered in due time.

The remaining one million for the City of Calasparra, of which it is not known.

Since we express the Partido Popular, which to a question raised by our local group in the plenary session on January 28, 2010, the City Council said the works were to resume in the immediate term and finalized in late March or during first days of April.

It is time that our City Council make the necessary arrangements for this work and the problems it brings, end once and for all.

We advocate for equal opportunities and are not willing to students of this center, their parents, and teachers feel discriminated against compared to other schools in the locality.

The Popular Party echoed the complaints raised in the Public School Los Molinos and commitment to a decent education for all.

It also supports and believes in education as the gateway to freedom and the future of our children.
