Jesus Martinez, chairman and spokesman of the Partido Popular de Calasparra has filed a motion in the town council for discussion at the next full local.
This is a proposed resolution to join the International Association of Municipalities Taurine and organizers of Popular bullfights.
In the motion presented by Martinez includes the statutes of the association.
Martinez said that the City of Calasparra has a clear interest in joining this association whose aims are the protection, promotion and conservation of all popular bullfights are part of history, culture and tradition in each country or place where held.
Martinez also noted that "Calasparra is and will always be a bull people and therefore should support all initiatives that defend what is ours, our culture, and why not, but our feelings."
