Yesterday, the mayor of the municipality, Jesus Navarro, and the Red Cross re-elected president of Calasparra, Francisco Morcillo, signed an agreement to that entity in charge of the distribution of more than 3,800 kilos of food, charitable, the Ministry sends Agriculture and Fisheries.

The mayor began the ceremony by congratulating Morcillo on his reelection and the entire Red Cross policy, which stressed its solidarity work and work fairly recognized, he said, in the distribution of these foods, work for which the municipality deposited full confidence in its volunteers, he added.
Jesus Navarro also had words of praise and thanks for Parish Caritas, for his outstanding action to those in need and carried out throughout the year by his volunteers, he said.
For his part, Francisco Morcillo thanked the trust, and reminded that to access the food distribution program is necessary to meet requirements and make the request in Calasparra Red Cross.
The mayor ended up highlighting the amount of food that, through this program of the Ministry, in total come to Calasparra, nearly ten thousand kilos.
Amount could be higher if the end of the collection of items, by different entities, have leftovers.
In this case, Jesus said that if nobody claims the City could access them, as it has requested the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.
The program is intended for those families who do not have sufficient resources to cover their food expenses.
The meeting ended with the presentation of diplomas to the students and students who have completed the basic course of Spanish cuisine for immigrants, organized from the Commonwealth of Social Services and the Northwest District has received fifteen, mainly students.
