Calasparra receives about 3 million of State Funds 2009-2010

The Government delegate, Rafael González Tovar, and the mayor of Calasparra, Jesus Navarro, this morning visited the environmental restoration and improvement of forestry in the Sierra de San Miguel and the San José de Calasparra Serrata.

This is one of 11 construction projects that this Council has submitted to the State Fund, 2010.

In particular this action represents an investment of 100,647 euros and will directly employ 51 people.

With these environmental improvement works enhance the natural and strategic location of this tourist area north of our region which will be a building block for the future tourist attraction for visitors.

Later, they visited the construction of an outdoor track in public school sports Mills also done with state funds in 2010, which will improve the facilities available to students and other groups outside of the school.

Represents an investment of about EUR 90,000 and allows the creation of 5 jobs.

2009 State Fund

The Government Delegate has pointed out that the Government of Spain in 2009 to 1,819,793 euros funded 18 ambitious projects that modernize and improve the town of Calasparra and have enabled the creation of 129 jobs.

Including the reform of the House of Youth, the conditioning of Public Institutions and Primary Education, or the construction of 3-family dwellings for tourist accommodation, among other projects.

State Fund 2010

In terms of the Plan Funds, 2010 E González Tovar explained that they will develop 11 projects under construction in Calasparra, which will generate 148 jobs and will make possible the development of project expenditure 2 social which will benefit 850 people and the maintenance of four jobs in those municipal areas.

These projects include the expansion of the cultural center of the Club of the Third Age, the draft energy efficiency in residential estate textiles, the restoration of the old Chapel of San Juan de Valentín and adapting to socio-cultural center, or the adequacy of municipal buildings (schools) Barn Homes and People's University, among others.

González Tovar explained that Calasparra receives more than 2.9 million state funds between 2009-2010, representing the biggest investment a government of Spain has made in this county, and in addition to its possible improvement in these difficult times, creating or maintaining jobs.
