This weekend the Municipal Auditorium of Calasparra hosted the play GALERNA, this show was presented as part of the events held around November 25 "International Day Against Violence Against Women" and postponed due to to the health situation. The public attending the event, including the councilor for equality, Cristina Ruiz, and councilors Antonio Merino and Juan José López, enjoyed a simple stage proposal.

A fairly intimate work, in which silences and glances became the protagonists. A work that served to stir consciences by bringing to the fore the issue of gender violence, a scourge continues to plague us today.

GALERNA follows the story of that woman who suffered gender violence.

A story that the actress Irene Caja herself mixed with personal experiences in what became a "testimonial" theater. At the entrance of the venue, the data and temperature of all attendees were taken, the seats were marked to maintain a safety distance at all times and the use of a mask was mandatory throughout the event.
