The mayor of Calasparra, Teresa García, participated yesterday afternoon in the meeting held by the Calasparra Childhood and Adolescence Committee, in which the mayor of Education, Cristina Ruiz, was also present.Every November 20, the Universal Day of the Rights of the Child is celebrated, and as stated in "The Local Plan for Childhood and Adolescence of Calasparra", approved unanimously, in the plenary session held on April 25, 2018.

Considering that one of the objectives of said plan is that children and adolescents form an active part of the community with power of proposition and decision, it is foreseen within said plan that the proposals for improvement of the municipality are raised through of a full Infantile.This year and due to the health situation in which we are immersed, it has not been possible to hold the Children's Plenary in our town.

For this reason, the mayor of the town accepted the invitation of the Council for Childhood and Adolescence to meet with them in order to talk about the town and the issues that affect children in Calasparra today.
