Last Saturday, November 22 The Bullfighting Association “El Quite de Calasparra” presented its XV National and local Awards corresponding to the 2019 season.
Nearly two hundred people gathered at the Restaurant of the Shrine Our Lady of Hope to witness this important awards ceremony, during an extraordinary gala dinner.
XV National Awards "Villa Arrocera":
Best Livestock: La Quinta, a prize that was collected by the cattleman D. lvaro Martnez Conradi, who thanked the Association and commented that they would continue fighting to maintain the livestock as it has been until now.
Best Bull of the Season: “ESPAÑOL” No. 78 by D. Adolfo Martn, fought in the Las Ventas bullring in Madrid on May 30 during the San Isidro Fair.
The prize was picked up by Adolfo Martin, Jr., who felt very happy for the recognition of «Spanish», one of the bravest bulls in livestock that have been dealt with this year.
Best fighter: Fernando Robleo.
The right-hander picked up this recognition and after thanking he commented that he would like to fight in the Caverina.
Bullfighter Revelation: Roman who did not attend the collection for another commitment.
Best Novillero: Toms Rufo could not attend due to a recent surgical intervention.

Fernando Snchez, one of the banderilleros of his crew, picked him up in a trophy.
Best Information Work: Tele Madrid bullfighting team.
The bullfighter critic Sixto Naranjo picked up the prize.
Best Professional Trajectory: Mr. Javier Buenda Ramrez de Arellano, could not attend the collection of awards for having family commitments.
Special Mention: To the Bullfighting Club of Lorca, for its work for the reconstruction of the Bullring of Lorca and the promotion of the fans.
Juan Colonel president of the Bullfighting Club of Lorca thanked for this mention and said they will continue at the foot of the canyon until they see the reconstructed bullring and celebrating bullfighting festivities.
Special Mention: The “De Grana y Oro” program of Televisin Murciana, presented by Mr. Mariano Molina Alba, for its 20th Anniversary.
Mariano Molina picked up the prize very excited: “I never thought I would receive recognition for this program in which I put all my heart and all my love”.
He extended it to his program collaborators.

Best Livestock: Mr. Jos Escolar.
The farmer picked up the prize, after thanking he commented that he felt very comfortable in Calasparra and wishes to return at the next fair.
Best Steer: "Lamperillo", nº 91, of the livestock of Miura, fought on September 8 in second place.
The owners of the same apologized for not attending to having inaccessible work in livestock
Best Faena of the Fair: Hctor Gutirrez.
Banderillero Pablo Gallego picked up the prize in his name.
From Mexico and by video conference, the novillero spoke to those attending the awards ceremony.
Best Young Fan: Juan Martnez Marn.

Special Recognition: To Enrique Prez Martnez, former president of the TA "El Quite de Calasparra".
Enrique with great emotion, thanked and commented that he will continue proclaiming the full bull and variety of encastes while he has strength and fully trusts his successor at the head of the Association.
The Bullfighting Association "El Quite de Calasparra" appointed honorary members to Juan Garca Caro and Antonia Jimnez, for their support and collaboration in all activities.
After the awards and recognition ceremony, Juan Carlos Marn, new president of the Bullfighting Association «El Quite de Calasparra», made his debut before sympathetic partners and friends of this Association with an exhibition of each of the winners, the full bull demanded , the bull bull and that there is variety of encastes, demanded bullfighting stability in Calasparra.
Giving back the support to Pedro Prez Chicote's company to continue organizing bullfighting celebrations in Calasparra.

The event was closed by Jos Vlez, mayor of Calasparra, feeling proud of the great fondness that there is in Calasparra for his bullfighting parties and that the City Council will do everything possible to continue this way because it is fun, wealth and work for the town.
He ended his speech by announcing a new “Victor Vctor Barrio” Recognition that the City Council of Calasparra will hold annually to the people who support and promote bullfighting.
Enrique Prez Martnez, former president of the Bullfighting Association "El Quite de Calasparra", was handed over for his delivery, dedication and contribution to the bullfighting festival in Calasparra.
The prize presented is a wonderful collection of lithographs, finished by hand, by the plastic artist Nicols de Maya, with bullfighting details from Calasparra.
These awards were presented during a gala-meal.
