The rain yesterday left prominence during the morning to those who really were the stars of the day: the steers-bulls of Miura.
This Saturday, the day of the patron saint of Calasparra, the Virgin of Hope, the expectation was maximum in the presence of these horns of legend.
The Miura ran through the streets of the municipality and there was no storm to curb the great interest of the public that, despite the rain and the postponement of the closure, did not hesitate to witness this unique milestone.
Thousands of people were throughout the day attentive to the media and communications that were advancing the latest decisions on the closure.
In the end, with almost 9 hours of delay with respect to the scheduled schedule, the encierro went out to the street and there was no talk of rain.

Yesterday's confinement, the last one of the Bullfighting Fair of Calasparra, had to be postponed several times due to the rain and the condition of the road, and it was not carried out until all the security measures, both for the runners as for the thousands of people who filled the route, were the appropriate ones.
The closure was finally held in the afternoon, with the public sheltered under the umbrellas, risky races and more than a resounding fall of the bulls that arrived at the square in a time of 2.43 minutes.
The confinement did not register any wounded.

Diego Conesa witnessed bullfighting, attended the Mass in the Sanctuary in honor of the Virgin of Hope on his big day and went in the afternoon to bullfighting with bulls of Miura.
