This morning, at a press conference, the mayor of Calasparra, José Vélez, the president of the Peña Madridista, Francisco Núñez, and the mayor of Sports, Jordi Arce, explained the details of the event.
"It is not a tournament anymore," said the mayor.
The sporting event is organized by the City Council of Calasparra and the Peña Madridista of the town and is in its fourth edition.
This year will have the teams of the category Alevín football UCAM, Murcia, Deportivo Leganés, Kelme, Elche, Northwest River Mula, Peña Madridista Ciudad del Sol de Lorca and FB Calasparra.
The qualifying phase will be played during the morning.
While the finals and the trophies will take place during the afternoon.
The president of the Peña Madridista has highlighted the free participation of the teams in the tournament, "something that has been possible thanks to the collaboration of the sponsors," he said.
The organization has also given thanks to all those who will make the success of this new edition of the Calasparra Cup possible.
